Safe Short Links Checklist Before You Share a Campaign

Short links are powerful, but they should be used responsibly. Before publishing a campaign, check the destination, message context, and visitor experience.

Pre-publish checklist

Open the destination in a private browser window. Confirm the page loads on mobile. Check that the offer, form, or checkout matches the message used in your campaign. Avoid misleading titles, forced downloads, or unexpected redirects.

Use descriptive aliases

When possible, choose an alias that gives people a hint about the destination. A clear alias improves trust, especially on print materials and WhatsApp messages.

Monitor suspicious activity

Review click spikes, unusual referrers, and unexpected geography. If a link is being misused or the destination changes, pause or update it quickly.

FLPL gives teams a practical way to share compact links while keeping campaign destinations easier to review, manage, and measure.
