UTM parameters help you understand where traffic comes from. FLPL makes those longer tracked URLs easier to share by wrapping them in short, readable links.

Core UTM fields

Use source for the platform, medium for the channel type, campaign for the promotion name, and content for creative or placement details. A clean naming system keeps analytics reports readable.

Recommended naming pattern

Use lowercase words, hyphens instead of spaces, and consistent channel names. For example, use whatsapp, email, instagram, linkedin, flyer, or qr-code as source names depending on where the link appears.

Pair UTMs with short links

Once your UTM URL is ready, shorten it in FLPL. Share the short version publicly while keeping the full campaign data available behind the scenes.

This helps teams compare ads, posts, newsletters, QR placements, partner links, and creator collaborations from one organized link workflow.
